I'm Seppe, a frontend developer building reliable digital experiences.
I'm a frontend engineer crafting modern web applications. My journey in web development has been driven by a passion for creating reliable, performant solutions that users can trust.
You’re probably wondering why I call myself Ringtail, and what that black and white woodland animal has to do with it all. When I was in the scouts, my totem name was "Betrouwbare Wasbeer" (Trustworthy Raccoon), and that philosophy carries into my work. Just like a raccoon is known for being resourceful and adaptable, I bring those qualities to every project, finding creative solutions to complex problems and adapting to new technologies and challenges. And as for the name Ringtail... well, a raccoon has a ringed tail. That's basically all.
I specialize in modern JavaScript frameworks like Next.js, Vue, and Asto, along with TypeScript for type-safe development. While I primarily focus on the frontend and headless CMSes, I'm comfortable working with JavaScript/TypeScript backends when needed. Whether it's crafting pixel-perfect UIs, optimizing performance, or building user-facing features, I approach each challenge with attention to detail and reliability.
When I’m not coding, you’ll usually find me running at a very unserious pace, taking very earnest photos, or poking at a new tool just to learn how it ticks. I like software that behaves the same on Monday morning as it did on Friday night: trustworthy, steady, and quietly doing its job, because those qualities matter as much in everyday life as they do on the web.
